La storia della Arcana Famiglia (アルカナ・ファミリア, Arukana Famiria, lit. The Story of the Arcane Family) is a Japanese visual novel and otome game by HuneX released on October 27, 2011 for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). In 2015, it was re-released for the PS Vita as Arcana Famiglia: Ancora.
Summary
Arcana Famiglia is a self-appointed organization with mysterious powers that has protected a small Mediterranean island from pirates, foreign countries, and other threats. The only daughter of the family's head, Felicità, will be married to the next head of the family in two months — and the successor will be decided in a competition that Felicità herself will take part in.
Gameplay
The game is best described as a mix between a visual novel and otome game. Felicita is the main character (player can rename her) and has her pick of seven boys to romance.
After the ending, the story can be continued through Arcana Famiglia 2.
